Typing anything in Internal Address overwrites the External Address

Is there somewhere this function can be turned off? My internal and external addresses are very different, it is tedious anytime my internal addresses shift, that I must also then re update my external address. For example, My current internal and external addresses for the app mealie internal address - random.name.example:9900 external address - someotherexample.com I change my internal address to random.name.example2:9900 now my external address is also random.name.example2:9900 Tagging this as bug/design because I'm not sure if its even intended, although considering how central this function is, its hard to imagine its not.

Hi, thanks for the post. Yes, it is intended, as you are supposed to fill out the internal one first and then the external one. But it's definitely not good user experience. Tagging @ajnart for visibility

I had the same experience when I set my stuff up. All my external links go through a cloud flare tunnel to my domain. But the internal links are on the lan.

Thanks, my personal experience is that internal addresses are much more likely to change as well, so this is not an uncommon occurrence.

@deftlymoving it's a bug, the external address should only get overwritten if it's empty Can you open up a github issue about it ?
