❔ Cannot find "New Project" for Hello World
Hey, I'm terribly sorry if this isn't in the right place. After all this time I'm still not used to the forum style thing on discord.
I'm following a tutorial for my very first program. They go to "File > New > Project", which then opens a few menus for your project. When I click on file though, all I get is "New Text File", "New File... (Which only gives me an option of a text file)" and "New Window." Can someone help me find the New Project button?
(Also my F5 button isn't compiling and running my program, but that's a question for another time)

They seem to be using Visual Studio

That makes a lot of sense. I didn't realize they were different programs, I thought they using an older version lol. Okay, I'll look up some tutorials for Code then. Thank you so much!
Yeah, Microsoft sucks ass at naming things
I'd recommend just getting Visual Studio proper
VS Code isn't that good for learning
