Depends, some people did get their fee waived while others didn't
You can check by going to the dashboard and clicking "join hobby plan"
it'll show a popup that'll tell you if you're gonna pay 5 dollars or not
I don't seem to find a need to pay, it just lets me transfer to hobby plan. my stripe is like this, will it still deduct fees
