Chat message validation failure
Entire server got kicked with this kick message
'Chat message validation failure'
Any idea what could be causing this?
Server is a 1.20.1 paper server

Server also has ViaBackwards and ViaVersion which may influence the chat validation?
Make sure your server and client system times are correctly set
add some sort of AntiChatValidation plugin because this is unavoidable in higher versions of Minecraft especially 1.20+
