“Burly yet soft and heavily textured” OCBDs
My favorite OCBD is from Spier and Mackay, but they don’t seem to sell it anymore. It is the same as this popover (https://www.spierandmackay.com/product/vintage-oxford---popover-if-2593-c27f5k-pop), expect a full button up shirt.
The product description says it is “woven on traditional, old-school power looms that run slower than modern versions, but produce a burly yet soft and heavily textured cloth”
None of my other oxfords come close to being as thick, soft or textured.
Does anyone know of any similar shirts? Alternatively, can anyone comment on if vintage oxfords are like this and if so what brands to look for?
