Going to release a new season that is estimated to have around 80-90 players with version 1.18.2
Hello, i would want to ask if this configuration can handle around 80-90 players on pufferfish 1.18.2
Server type: ElytraBox server
Disabled a lot of things that i won't need (Mobs/Nether/End and etc.)
CPU: Intel Core i9-9900k (Overclocked at max, around 4-5 ghz)
RAM : 20 GB DDR4 (I think its 2666 mhz or higher idk)
Cores: 8
Pregenerated chunks
Two worlds:
One for spawn and elytrabox arena
the second will be for plots (one plot is 16x16, maximum 100 plots in total) (It is void world, so there isn't villagers/animals and etc.)
Plugins: 50+ (Removed skript recently because it used a lot of ram)

i wouldnt recommend using the i9-9900k for it could work tho
20 gb ram isnt really needed
especially not with it being box
Ik, it used a lot of ram before
Optimized it and now it uses a lot less ram
did u look at panel?
or where did u see the memory usage
panel
(12 gb should be just fine"
yeah dont trust it
and at spark sometimes
Everytime when it reached 20.02/20 gb as an example, after few minutes boom crashes ;-;
incorrect startup flags can cause that
Already fixed it anyways
So, will this configuration handle around 80-90+ players ;-;
you cant know for sure
the i9-9900k aint a great cpu for mc
Alright
Thanks for the response anyways
Are you using aikar flags? https://flags.sh
If you use these and you are using pterodactyl, remove the always pre touch flag
Yeah, i removed alwayspretouch flag tho
This is my current startup flags
dont set xmx to 189 gb
18 gb*
why ;d
because mc wont need it
especially with a box server
before i had like 40+ skripts and it used a lot of ram, that's why i set it to 18 gb
Removed the skripts now doesn't even reach 12 gb tbh
skripts are horribly optimised
skript is just bad
Yeah
I was thinking that skript is more optimized than plugins for some weird reason
š
-.-
Set both xmx and xms to 12G at the most
But try and allocate as little ram as possible
