Best 'small community server' host?

I'm looking for a host that won't break the bank but will also run smoothly for a vanilla experience with me and 2 other friends, so 3 players total. The only kink is that they play on console and I play on Java. Yes, we could make a realm, but the one reason I'm looking into this is that I truly am sick of playing on Bedrock. I don't hate bedrock, but Java is my preferred method just based on personal preference. So in all I need a server that supports Geyser/Floodgate and can be up 24/7. Aternos works great, but anything past 2 players and it really starts to lag, so I'd be willing to pay a bit to have a smooth experience. I've looked into Oracle Free Cloud, but have no SSH experience and after looking up a guide, know that even attempting that would probably end in frustration on my end. I tried port forwarding and just running the server from my PC, but that also ended in frustration. Bottom line, I want a hermit-craft like experience with my 2 friends on console, and don't want to overpay for it.

If you want free, oci would work fine for that, if you can manage a linux server If not, https://enviromc.host's budget plans are cheap asf, and theyre a decent host (not affiliated, just have used them in the past)

I've hear dof them but their website is literally blank until you sign up, no server hardware info, nothing, so I didn't go forward with it. I'm not a fan of websites that make you sign up for stuff without really even telling you what their able to do. Also, after 3 months if it's going to be some premium to keep my server up I'd rather not, especially with no pricing info on their website.

That's the guide I was following. My first hurdle was they didn't accept my card info which is weird, so I ahd to make a support ticket. I read ahead after that and saw all the stuff you had to do to connect and as someone who isn't super tech savvy, it's a recipe for disaster. I'll try it if they figure out my card situation but I'm not so sure about it. I will be looking at enviroMC tho

Blank as in there's literally no helpful information. Ultraservers.com (if you don't have an account) literally is just a homepage with no helpful information unless you want to make an account

I see the info in marketplace now, but theres no way to know that's where the info is based on their website so thank you for letting me know. Tbf I dind't look at the marketplace cause I wasn't sure what it was I'll definitely look into Oracle after they figure out my account, I just definitley get the feeling after downlaoding PuTTY and everytihng I need it'll go wrong somehow and with no experience, I won't be able to fix it

If youre waiting on them, that isnt going to happen they dont give support unless youre a paying customer free tier users get nothing in terms of support

Ah wonderful, that ideas in the trash then lol They rejected my DC (which is bank-issues, valid, and has a balance), so I was going to try my CC but I've 'exceeded the limit to try and sign up. Trying Ultraservers now. Only concern is the location in Germany as far as ping since I'm in the US. But otherwise it looks great, even the projected pricing

I got the server setup, but will have to contact support to get it running. It says connected but whenever I try to run it, it starts up for a sec and then just stops. Thank you for all the input everyone! 🙂

ElixerNode. Good support, very cheap, good uptime, geyser support

basically every host supports geyser the 0.85 plan has a horrible basically 10 year old cpu, sure its a bit cheaper than other budget hosts like pebblehost/enviromc but performance aint gonna be good, and ultraserver is gonna be good for 3 months

So far Ultraservers has been the most useful but I don't want to brag on it until the 3 months are over, to see if it still holds up. I'm keeping EnviroMC and ElixirNode as secondaries just in case. Don't need anything crazy, literally just geyser and a fairly smooth experience.
