Forge Server (1.16.5) running poorly
A Forge Server we've recently set up on one of our 5950X dedi's is running very poorly, running on ~10 TPS. spark profiler below, let me know if you want any other information - I'd appreciate any help, since it's been rather confusing.

a lot of ms is used by the scp mod hmm
so go for removing mods in like, binary search or similar as possible?
ascpm is running a command on every single world tick

Use fabric. Forge is generally very unoptimized. Fabric also has a lot of mods which greatly help with server performance. I was able to run ~120 mods on the GGServers basic plan with fabric
Most mods have ports too
it's a very specific project from what I know, so I'll see if fabric ports are available for essentials mods. thanks
Fabric is also updated faster and has mod backwards/forwards compatability (generally). Most 1.19.4 mods work on 1.20
That's an exception not the norm
fabric is better i agree, but content-mods are quite a hit or miss on it, forge has most of the big names without decent ports
speaking from experience, forwards compat in modded is shit everywhere as mojang is quite adventourous in their internals which most mods inject their mixins into

just the update from 1.19.2 to 1.19.4 was A PAIN IN MY BUTT, ngl. it was just a minor side-project, but damn they changed a lot lol

but in comparison to mekaism and immersive eng that is a pale lot
