-xmx & -xms must be the same value?
I readed akair's docs about akair flags and I've seen that it said that setting -xms to a lower value is wasted ram. Yet I've heard that the value of -xms doesn't have a big impact

-Xms is basically the minimum RAM java can use
different sources say different things
this is quite the discussion topic, and credible people have argued both sides. But both sides agree that the gain/loss is almost negligible as long as both numbers are reasonable.
IMO just set them both to the same. I think this is the standard and people haven’t had any issues with this
IBM says it doesn't matter but then oracle said something like it matters a tiny bit
It's such a mess
I think for our use case, it doesn’t matter.
Can argue if you’re running 1000+ players/plugins on a super server maybe u mite want to look into it

No. They can be different and u prob won’t see a performance dip/increase . But it’s standard to have them be the same. So just have them be the same
