Users not able to gain XP in some channels
hello, a server im in just moved from mee6 to lurker.
Leveling is enabled, but some users are not gaining any EXP when chatting, despite no channels or roles being blacklisted.
the only things enabled that would affect EXP is a global multiple and 1 role multiplier
(left user gains exp, right user doesn't)

both users are the same level role as well
Can you show your leveling configuration
The leveling tab from
/config check works
Also /config troubleshoot, make sure everything is alright

the role they have is upper paleolithic
another user, level 0 with the anthropocene role, isn't gaining exp either

yep, including myself and a 5th person
exp gain works in our mod channel but that's all
i tried adding a channel to the blacklist, no change either
changing the mode to whitelist did block the mod chat from gaining exp though
what is the id of the channel you're chatting in

you changed your config tho
you set the channel mode to whitelist and added 763925234897387571
meaning users can only gain xp in that channel
previously it was set to blacklist without any channels, meaning users can gain xp in any channel
that was after this

are you able to gain xp in the mod channel still, but not anywhere else?

is it just you that is testing this
because there is a 1 minute cooldown between xp gain
i.e., you send a message and gain xp for it, you will only be able to gain xp again after 1 minute
no, i tested it with another staff as well

the bot was just unable to view most of the channels for some reason
