What happens to my money if I change from usage-based to prepaid plan?
Hi! I just paid $5 for the usage-based hobby plan and now I want to switch it to prepaid. I know how to do it, but if I cancel the subscription, will I lose those $5?

I honestly wouldn't recommend it, the minimum credits you can load is 10$

you are charged a minimum of 5$ every month, no matter how little resources you use
so if i'm using this for a personal project, it's better to just cancel the usage-based plan, take the $5 hit, pay the $10 in prepaid credits to ensure that i won't be charged monthly? since i won't be exceeding the limits at all
credit or usage based, you will have to pay the 5$ every month regardless
you can think of it like a subscription, not a one time fee

dont know where you got that idea from, the credits that you load that dont get used, do roll over
