I dont have any porject right now if i change to hobby plan will it charge me
I have no projects right now but if i may create one in the future i would be happy to deploy it from railway but not if it uses my 10$ credits to buy hobby for the next 2 months for nothing??

You should be able to stay on the Developer Plan for the rest of the month and then be auto-downgraded (I believe). Then your credits should be waiting for you when you return and choose to use the Hobby plan.
they will auto downgrade are you sure it wont charge me?
Semi-sure, but just incase, I’d advise you to click “Manage subscription” and “Cancel plan” on the billing page (https://railway.app/account/billing) just to make sure.

Hmm, that’s odd. This is what I see, and I saw when I was on the developer plan. We can wait for a team member or someone else knowledgeable about the automatic downgrading to ensure of this, I apologize for the inconvenience.
this is 100% the correct page to be on, but it is missing a bunch of html elements, maybe you have some browser extension or ad blocker interfering with something?

I just remembered, since you aren't on the usage based plan, you won't see a plan type in stripe

there's nothing to cancel because you are not being auto charged
so when it automatically shifts me to hobby plan on august 1 it wont charge me 5$?
you'd just be switched to no subscription
oh im fine till it doesnt charge me i will just use my credits later when i need them
