colored block lights on Mac?

Colored block lights in the Euphoria add on for reimagined don’t work on Mac because of an iris issue apparently, will this be fixed?

Apple silicon/M1 support is very poor due to Apple treating OpenGL as a total afterthought. Many shaderpacks won't work under M1, it's not going to change any time soon. Only way forward is some kind of translation layer or a complete rewrite of Sodium and Iris internals. In fact I don't think Iris supports M1 officially at all.

Most shader packs work great on Mac Pretty much any shaders that aren’t voxel based Maybe rt too

M1 Pro user here, they do work for me! Make sure you’ve enabled them in Euphoria Patches settings because that was the mistake I made when I first got it

I mean they work for soul campfires and torches which afaik aren’t in the original comp reimagined What kind of block lights work? Like froglights or whatever they’re called?

It’s not that it’s an afterthought, but that OpenGL has been deprecated on macOS for six years

Shaders on metal are too good to be true They might not ever happen Although recently apple made it possible to run dx12 on Mac by converting to metal I wonder if it’s possible to do something similar with open gl
