Verified yesterday but unverified now.

I was in verified state when I logged in today when receiving the plan conversion email. However, it has now changed to unverified, and I am being notified that data in my GitHub account is insufficient. However, this Github account has long history, and I have made many commits in the past year, and I even has Github Student Pack. I don’t understand why my account is now considered to be unverified suddenly. After the plan conversion, I noticed numerous users in the threads discovering their previously verified accounts becoming unverified, with the suggested solution being to pay. The plan change explanation stated that only verified users can migrate to the hobby plan without payment. It appears to me that recent downgrading of users from verified to unverified without any rationale reflects the company’s desire for more people to pay, while also utilizing the secrecy of the verification process to avoid providing explanations. I find this inconsistent with my expectations of Railway. I hope that Railway can employ more transparent means rather than tampering with the verification mechanism. In summary, I would like to understand why my account was marked as unverified in order to avoid associating the sudden unverification with the recent plan change, a deduction that others in similar situations may make. Thanks for your reply!

you would need to upgrade to the hobby plan, the hobby plan has no verification requirements, there's a upgrade button in the dashboard, click it and it will tell you what would happen with the fees and such

Please take a moment for the description above: After the plan conversion, I noticed numerous users in the threads discovering their previously verified accounts becoming unverified, with the suggested solution being to pay. This will require me to pay $5. Based on the previous announcement, I was not required to pay this fee. So, I did not migrate all of my projects, but now there is a sudden request for payment by adjusting the verified status, which is something I did not anticipate, and it will result in a decrease in the availability of my projects.

there where multiple requirements that went into getting the fee waived, and it seems from your description you unfortunately did not meet them

I'm sorry you didn't qualify, but this would have been programmatically decided days ago, there's no changing the outcome now I'm locking this thread now as the original question has been answered: upgrade to the hobby plan
