Migrating from developer plan to hobby
Hey, I'm using developer plan, mu resource usage is below 5$ so I basically pay nothing.
Will it stay the same with hobby plan? Or I will pay 5$ anyway even if I don't go over the credits limit?

you would have gotten a popup on the dashboard that told you what is happing to your plan
Yep, but the message is confusing (at least for me)
"Starting with your next bill, you will be charged a monthly $5 subscription fee, which includes $5 of usage. "
Which leads me to the same question -
will pay 5$ anyway even if I don't go over the credits limit?
as the message states, you will pay a monthly $5 subscription fee
got it. thanks for confirming
here is some faqs

This statement is interesting - some users will not pay $5 every month
Railway waives the monthly Hobby plan subscription fee for a small set of active builders on the platform. Eligibility is automatically assessed based on several factors, including your usage on the platform, your GitHub account, and more. If you qualify, you will be notified in the Dashboard or when you upgrade to the Hobby plan.
And after I switched to hobby, it says
"Hobby Plan
You are only billed for what you use minus a $5 discount every month. You have 3-day grace period to pay for your use"
Does it mean
$5 monthly fee + (usage fee - $5)
or
usage fee - $5
?
