Subchunk-Lines "disappear" when using iris (with no shaders enabled)
As it can be seen in the screenshots, when using iris shaders the blue lines indicating subchunks disappear. To reproduce, no shaders have to be enabled, just the mods installed. It shouldn't be a problem of any other mod, since in the screenshots with the blue lines visible, i had all mods besides iris active.

If it is helpful in any way:
my specs are:
CPU 5900X and GPU RTX 3070 ti fe
my friends specs, where it also behaves like this:
CPU i9 12900 kf and GPU RTX 3080 fe
they don't disappear, there seems to be a bug turning them red.
it seems to only happen with iris 1.6.4 on 1.20.1. Previous versions didn't have this issue
nevermind, it happens since 1.6.0 for 1.19.4
it happens since the 23w06a test build https://discord.com/channels/774352792659820594/883067831485366304/1073071151447814248
yes im playing in 1.19.4
but the horizontal ones just turn cyan, making it impossible to differntiate subchunks
ok, but its a known bug i assume then?
no, this bug wasn't known. I just spent a bit of time finding the time it was introduced
oh ok
can/should i do anything to submit a bug report or sth like that?
I'll create an issue on github and tell IMS as well so he knows about it and can fix it when he has time. Give me a minute
okay :)
not a big problem for me, so no rushing needed, i can just temporary remove the mod to use the subchunks and then add it back
i don't know, if that would be useful, but it would probably also be very painful to implement a switch ingame, to turn the mod on/off
depending on how it is implemented and which parts have to stay "loaded"
am I allowed to use your screenshots?
yeah absolutely
if you need more/different ones, lmk
happy to help
