Cannot install, tried two different .jar files. Is the site down?
I want to install rethinking voxels and loading it in optifine gave me a screen blocking image of "iris is needed for this shader" now I try to install iris and I am on a scavenger hunt how to get this to actually install. It only has this automatic downloader .jar and it seems all the repositories that these try to pull from are offline or something.

so far I tried these two jar installer files and one just tries to access the above link, resulting in the error 503. the other gives a different kind of error (but similar)
also the other error message window is hillariously long but I have no clue how to fix this please help
but basically... I guess they cant access the server and maybe its because the url is also broken?: https://irisshaders.net/
I now tried to install it manually and I got this error, that some directories are missing idk... might be incompatible with 1.20.1?
the Iris site moved to https://irisshaders.dev/ (.dev not .net) due to the old domain expiring. Not sure what you've done manually, but if you can't run the installer the way to install by hand requires that you run the Fabric installer then you put Iris and Sodium in the 'mods' dir. There are versions compatible with 1.20.1, that's not an issue.
This is Iris

yeah I had to find out that I have to create the mods folder and put the two files in there. It worked after launching as fabrik loader and not as iris loader in the minecraft launcher. i also tried the new domain and the files there are the same and give the same error. they cannot reach the url. so manual installation is the way to go atm i guess
The net error seems to be a Github hiccup:
Should work if you try later in the day. Anyway, you got it working one way or another.
hm ok would be interesting if it was something i did wrong or if it really was just the url/server being weird
