what can I improve?
i am trying to find different ways of showing projects.
i am unsure about the design and almost think this looks too basic

Quick stuff don't have more time unfortunately
oh that's a change. thanks
so you think i should stick with the idea of showing projects like that? instead of it taking up more space on the screen per project
The projects are supposed to be cards in my design
So you'd have more than 1 card I was just being lazy about it haha
Cards are pretty overplayed though it would be cool if you did some variation of the standard card layout
Like this is for my website i'm doing right now, lots of whitespace which ill prob have to fix but maybe it can help inspire you? think about scale and all that jazz try to just mess around with it to make the layout more interesting
yeah i understand
You can also look at how web agencies do their projects
Usually they make their projects sections huge

i'll look into it. yeah i think that since the whole website primarily is for my projects, that it should take up some more space on it. i'll look into how others have done it
Ye design is all about just doing a lot of research and making a ton of variations of stuff until you find something that you like (or works best for your target audience)
yup
i recommend looking up some ui fundamental stuff. your original design is missing a lot of that (like spacing is a big one). that would instantly make it look better.
oh also, i just got figma, exploited my school for it. so i'll try to learn that aswell
its free no?
one version of it, get more things with more payment
ahh didnt know that
i think is how it's set up
adobe xd and figma are both used in the industry so doesnt matter which one u use tbh they seem to have a lot of overlap
i just used figma here cause i wanted to use inter and adobe xd doesnt have that by defualt lol
yeah, i've gotten adobe xd, protopie and now figma. They all seems to be better for different things but can still be used for the same thing
i think adobe xd and figma are both used for the same thing, lots of job descriptions ask for either or both
yeah, i just meant that i think figma has some more functions on different parts but is sometimes less liked by its own user experience (i think that's what a graphics designer friend told me) so they both work great for same things but have some differences
ah got ya
anyways, great design, thank you for the help. i'll definetly take some things from it and will look up how others have done it
Np 🙂👍
