Which one do you think looks better?
I wanna hear some thoughts from everyone here. What do you think looks better and what changes should I make?

Can you share the Figma file please? I'd like to copy it and mess around with it
between those 2 specifically, I like the 2nd one better
if I was to iterate on it, I would probably make all the inner titles white instead of pink gradient, and make the 'my expertise' text be so big it extends across the entire section and use the pink gradient solely on it
and maybe reduce the glow behind the icons 20-30% so that it isn't as distracting
and finally, when doing dark mode, you still want to mimic the 'darker to lighter' style (closer objects are lighter). This way, foreground elements will still look closer. In your case, the bg is lighter than the cards bg, which is 'closer' to the user and it should be reversed
Put labels on the icons, the people that will triage your CV/portfolio won't know which icon corresponds to what.
Stylistically I prefer the first one, but the second conveys more informations
