I'm not sure what you mean by "launch jar". If you mean the installer you can download it on https://irisshaders.dev/download
Download Now - IrisShaders
The Iris Installer - Designed to streamline your Iris experience. Our handy Installer's not your style? Try the standalone version!
It should show up in your downloads folder afterwards
After running the jar and installing iris you can use the vanilla launcher
yeah some guy told me to say that isk what the jar is called as i dont have it but its apparently meant to show up in my mods folder but its not there aparently
Did you check your downloads folder?
iris shader 3.0.1?
Iris-Installer-3.0.1
are you able to run it?
yeah i installed it already
should i just install it again?
ok, if you did you can just launch the vanilla minecraft launcher
yep
shows up in my installations
sorry for the cluelessness i very recently switched to pc
so you can launch it and it works right? Was that your issue or was it something else?
aparently it isnt using my actual graphics card to do anything (as i understood it)
the guy realised this when i sent a ss of my f3 stuff
if youd like i can send a ss of it here bc he didnt explain it fully just said that its not using my 4090 for something
googling something like "use dedicated gpu minecraft" should give you more than enough tutorials to do this
yeah thats what he said smth about deidcated gpu
this isn't that rare of an issue
