Support `.beach` TLD
How can we request support for a new TLD? Both the API and the Dashboard prevent me from adding a new zone with a ".beach" TLD.

I thought you meant registrar initially but is this just adding it as a normal zone?
I can’t see beach on the PSL at a glance so that’d be my first guess
ya, -registrar. already have the domain just wanna have cf manage it
unsure what PSL is

The Public Suffix List. Contribute to publicsuffix/list development by creating an account on GitHub.
Browsers use it to stop subdomains of shared domains (think pages.dev) from sharing cookies and otherwise to recognise what shared suffixes there are - so it knows a.com and b.com are on the shared suffix of com and shouldn’t share anything
Cloudflare also uses it to determine if it’s a domain, or if you can add a subdomain without partial setup
.beach seems to be a handshake tld?
O
hm, so is this gunna be a dead end
For handshake tlds yeah, we don't support them and have no plans to
only the ones under ICANN
youll probably find similar issues elsewhere with handshake domains, theyre not resolvable without special configuration
bummer
i suppose theres no serverless option for handshakes then
