block unwanted ips?
Hey guys, I've been wanting to (and have for part of a day) run a server through my PC via port forwarding, the only problem is that Cox likes to kill my internet anytime a high risk ip connects, and while I can turn off the security, that makes me nervous. So is there any way to prevent it from happening altogether? I've been trying to look at guides and it's been hard to wrap my head around as it's usually for IT professionals afaik. Even if it's running the port through something else entirely, any help is greatly appreciatedđź’›
TLDR: How do I block unwanted ips from accessing my IP, or should I even worry about it?

I dont use cox, but the whole "high risk IP blocking" thing just sounds annoying
if you use common sense online, and have a firewall enabled, then its just unnecessary
