Website UI/UX Feedback plus any suggestions
Hey Everyone. I feel pretty good about this design but always good to get another set of eyes on a project, especially from developers. Lmk what you think:

I like the overall design it's pretty interesting with the different textures and things you added but I think you missed the mark on some of the fundamentals at least in my opinion.
Things like spacing and heirarchy all around are quite odd to me
You overused bold text so it doesn't really have as much meaning if you used it on really important concepts. The fact that the list items are bigger than the body text just seem really odd
Scale is really weird here. Your title and paragraph are almost the same font size
Spacing here between the title, text, and button are off. Button is super big compared to everything else so scale is off
Not enough spacing between the name, location, and ratings
See this looks pretty good. The spacing between the paragraphs is too much and I'd probably decrease the paragraph font size a tad but the heirarchy makes a lot of sense compared to some of the examples I just talked about
I don't have time to go over really much else but I did want to say if you clean up your spacing, heirarchy, and scale, as well as your overuse of bold lettering, I think it will make the design go up a level.
The font selection and colors are really nice, as well as the textures
Hey Vince, I really appreciate your feedback. I went ahead and made some changes based off your notes. You made some great points and that's why it's great to have another eye take a look.
This is an interesting site, because I know it feels that there's a lot of bold and the text is quite large, but given the demographic is elderly citizens, it really needs to be pretty "in-your-face" compared to other industries. At least, all my time in the industry has taught me you pretty much have to guide them to what you want to see. In doing so, I definitely forgoed some important design principles, as you've pointed out. I definitely think there's a nice balance to be had for sure and I over did it on some portions 😂
Lol I was thinking the same thing when looking at it that you probbaly made a lot of it bold/big because of your target audience so that's definitely a valid point. I'm new to design so all of the stuff I said I wouldn't take as fact, especially when you have more experience than me 🙂 good luck! let me know if you want me to look at anything else
