cannot use my godaddy domain, server refused to load

I am trying to update my client for my app to have a custom domain i have purchased from godaddy but i cannot get it to work

GoDaddy does not support root level cnames, you would need to use cloudflare's nameservers, there's a guide from cloudflare on how to do that here. https://developers.cloudflare.com/dns/zone-setups/full-setup/setup/

i switched over to the cloudfare nameservers, yet i am still getting the too many re-directs error. is there something i have to add on railway? so far i added my domain into railway and it tells me cloudfare proxy detected

let me see if i can find it, i just searched godaddy in this thread and read thru some of the chats, it was along the lines of turning off the orange cloud on cloudfare (which is exactly what I did), the "proxy .... " message from railway went away and i got the full steam ahead message

yeah that would do it, as long as you don't care about having cloudflare protection Infront of your app
