Ver .11

Not sure if this is the place to ask, but updated to v .7.11 foundry 10. Lost all quest data. Folders and quest names are still there, but all data is gone.... Is there a way to track down an internal folder, or is all my data just gone?

Well, that is unique. Can you clarify from which core Foundry version you tried to update from -> to? It looks like the quest log module is not currently enabled. Also the quests need to be in the _fql_quests folder, so did you happen to move them out of that folder?

Didn't move a thing. The Fql folder is just showed up today as it updated to v 7.11. Foundry is version 10 build 291. also Quest log is enabled.

I can't say how an "All Quests" folder would be created as there is nothing in the FQL code that would create or move quests to such a folder. FQL should automatically hide the _fql_quests folder, so it is not visible normally unless you check a setting to display it in the module settings. I do see the "Quest Log" button at the bottom of the journals side bar. There is a possibility that another module did something funny. Did you make a backup before you upgraded? The next thing to try is to move the journal entries in the "All Quests" folder to the _fql_quests folder. You can try moving just one quest and see if that loads in FQL. The quest data is stored in "flags" on the journal document, so the data won't normally show up when viewed as a normal journal entry. Quite likely you just have to move those journal entries to the _fql_quests folder and reload.

Ok, thank you. I'll give that a try. And of course i didn't backup.. :/ I did change some settings. But back when I first installed it. That would be about a month ago And so that worked. Just moved each file back into the fql folder and it repopulated each quest. Very weird. I noticed a few settings where checked that were not before I updated. But looks like everything is back now. Thank you for your help!

Excellent. It sounds like you might be new to FQL as well... There are video tutorials that go through all of the features capable here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLHslnNa8QKdD_M29g_Zs0f9zyAUVJ32Ne FQL has been rock solid / no bugs for quite some time, so what you saw is strange especially since there is no code in FQL to move quests out of the folder. All I can guess is that there was some other migration process perhaps from another module that did something funny.
