Low quality textures from far distance with shaders

As you can see close up the quality is perfect but as the distance increases the textures become worse and worse. I'm not sure if this is a bug or part of the optimization but is there some way to fix this? I don't know what additional information to provide like mods/settings etc... but I'll send a SS of any information needed.

Hello?
▯▯▯▯▯▯▯▯
what exactly is the issue and which shader are u using? Would be nice if you sent an f3 screenshot too

From my guess, try turning off all anti-aliasings and blooms effects.

example look at the oak logs in thre back

I think it's because of the mipmapping and imo, this kinda smoothen the background, which I prefer

The first pic in this thread looks normal to me...? Iris doesn't do much with the textures so I'm not sure what you mean.

As Iris requires Sodium, it could be from Sodium....

sodium doesn't use any LODs or similar, the only technique it uses is mip mapping, which vanilla uses as well as long as it's not about translucency sorting sodium tries to stay accurate to vanilla, with very minor differences in clouds and leaves (they usually look better than vanilla)

it does look kinda blurry for a 3000x2000 image tbh maybe the user didn't set the resolution or render resolution correctly

if it's the blurriness then they should try different settings or different shaderpacks. Some shaderpacks inherently look blurry or deliberately introduce DOF/motion blur effects. Regardless, it doesn't make sense to speculate what they mean. We should just wait for a response
