Salomon newbie
I have been influenced. Idk much about the brand but want some of the normal black trainers with the fruity little color stripe down the middle. Everything has a silly letter/number code and I'm getting confused. Please help me and share any advice on sizing, deals, and so on please my feet are begging u.

I think XT-6 is the flagship icon model
I've got the XT-4 and love my pair, though it's about to be retired. Only sneakerheads and internet idiots (one in the same?) will be able to tell the difference between the XT-4 and XT-6 immediately and have opinions about which is better. The correct answer is whichever has a colorway you like more.

If you can try them on in-person, that's even better. Mine are sized up mens +0.5 US (9 -> 9.5), I'm not sure about the other sizing numbers, they look all over the place (it says EU 43 1/3 even though I'd argue it should be EU 42.5-43)
One easy thing is if you're looking at XT-4/6 and you try them on in-person, then you can go online or elsewhere to shop colorways if needed (though obv I want to support the shops, I waited until a local place had a colorway I liked)

Yeah I also went up a half size
And they’re still pretty snug
They’re a pretty narrow shoe so if you happen to have wide feet they might be uncomfortable
XT-2 Wings are a good option (also narrow and size up)
