Iris 1.19.2 Help
So i'm not the one currently having issues, it's a friend of mine, but I have run through every installation path and sent them every file that i get. It will boot up perfectly fine and they can see the shaders, but when they click apply, it reloads like it applies the shaders but the shader doesn't actually get applied, is there any way to fix this at all?

Giving support through a middleman is very tedious to do most of the time so I don't think we'll easily resolve your friends issue like this, but I can give you some pointers. The most common causes for this are:
1. invalid shaderpacks (try another one from modrinth or curseforge, KEEP THEM AS ZIP so you can be sure to have the correct folder structure)
2. Unsupported hardware (there are shaders that don't work on intel igpus, others that don't work on macos, make sure the system meets the requirements of the pack)
3. Outdated iris (a few packs use newer iris features, you can find the latest iris versions on modrinth)
The exact cause is easiest to find with a game log
How to get a log file:
Game logs can be found in the
logs sub-directory in .minecraft on clients, or the logs sub-folder of the server directory for servers. We're probably interested in the file named latest.log, which you can drag and drop into Discord.Tag requested by mithos23#0
I see what you mean, I can ask them about the log and throw it here if that will help at all, I can also give a list of the mods since I have the exact same, mods so I can send them

I don't have iris cause my laptop can't handle shaders, but they do, that's the only diffrerence from the mods
I also can't get a log atm, i'm busy recording haha
Anybody have any idea?
Or am I going to have to dig for it myself?

If you can get a log file with the error that appears in it when the shaderpack tries to load then I could help more
Aight, I'll see what I can do, going back to what you said as being the middleman here, it's difficult for timing haha
