Layer Switching
My gameplay and "be right back" screens are currently two different overlays that I switch between when needed. I'm trying to combine them and I'm not sure what the best way to do that is or if it's possible. I made an AFK layer thats hidden until I type the command. I can set the "Show" time to some high number to make sure it doesn't disappear if I'm gone for a long period of time but I don't know how trigger the "Exit" animation or deactivate the layer via command. I don't want to have to reopen the overlay.expert site to do deactivate it every time either. Any ideas?

Alert layers must show and then hide after the specified time so they are not suited for “be right back” screens/layers.
You should use chat toggles instead. In the layer settings for your AFK layer, expand the Visibility panel, set the chat source to Twitch, and then set the toggle chat commands. This will allow you to toggle the layer on and off with the chat command you set.
Yes that was it! Thanks a ton. I'm not sure if that was in the user walkthrough but are there anymore tutorials made by yall working on overlay.expert?
No, this isn't in the new user walkthrough unfortunately. We do want to add more tutorials, but we are focusing on new features at the moment.
If you need help, you can check out the many tutorials on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=overlay+expert) created by fellow users or you can always ask in #support-forum or #community-chat and someone will be happy to help.
