Trouble with simple MySQL
Hi, I'm new to this platform and I just created a mysql database with your service. I created a testing table but when I click on that table in "Data" section on your official website, it shows me a message: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'Column_name'). Who can help me? (oh and also, I can't do simple queries like SELECT * )

the data view tab is full of bugs, please don't rely on it, instead use a real database tool like mysql workbench or even dbgate, etc
uh but I can't even do queries with the "Query" tab. Does it have bugs too ?
yes unfortunately
you can do queries in mysql workbench or similar software
Oh ok, I understand. Thank you, I'm gonna try using jdbc now. I'm completely new to databases so I hope I can get rid of this. Thank you again
if you're new to databases I can suggest using postgres over mysql
postgres is a little more memory lean
I'm gonna try it. By that way, could you help me using mysql workbench ? How do I connect it with railway ? +
copy / paste the required credentials from the database plugin's connect tab
can I use dbeaver ?
yes of course
or similar software
okok I'll try it
Ok I'm using it now and I find it much more understandable. Last question, with the free starter plan, I have got 500 hours EACH month or all time ?
at the moment you do get 500 hours each month.
but the plans are changing soon, after these changes you will only get 500 hours for a single month.
my recommendation, upgrade to the developer plan before these changes take place
Why should I upgrade before these changes ?
1. because you'd eventually run out of hours anyway
2. the developer plan is more than worth it
I'm going to get more information about the plan and the pricing first, and maybe upgrade then
dev plan is usage based
Is it gonna change ?
( the details about the developer plan )
