OBS v29.1.2 (not responding)/lagging on gaming machine
so the past few days I've been having issues with OBS lagging/not responding, sometimes it will happen when I try to close out the program clicking 'exit'. That usually causes it to hang up and I have to force close it with Task Manager. 2 logs on the way; 1 running as Admin the other as normal. 2 PC setup, my laptop (streaming side) has no issues) If you need the specs on the laptop I'll happily do that.

logs from the gaming pc
Looks like it gets as far as starting ndi output, then nothing
And it looks like there is a more recent ndi plugin update than what you have. I'd start by updating that
https://www.newtek.com/ndi/applications/ from their download page

Why would you be on ndi site for obs plugin?
4.11? odd since im using v5
Ndi tools isn't the same as plugin
ndi thought it was a blanket
Your plugin is currently 4.10.0
aight, 4.11 installed, going to do the same on the stream side
update, both OBS programs are open and no hang ups
curious if that might be the issue, thanks for the help!
so is having this still fine?
Yea
You still need the ndi tools/sdk for it to communicate with obs
close out streaming laptop and gaming pc OBS, re-opened only gaming pc and no
broken
Log again
it went away once i booted up the NDI output laptop
Maybe don't set ndi on game pc obs to start right away
Maybe set a hotkey to turn it on/off?
But I'd prob report on the issues part of obs plugin page I linked to earlier
damn again, ndi unchecked
sending log
