✅ TimeZoneInfo
I need a TimeZoneInfo of Germany. In germany the timezone changes between CET (utc+1) and CEST (utc+2) depending what time of the year it is. Does
TimeZoneInfo.FindSystemTimeZoneById("Central European Standard Time")
respect both CET and CEST? Cuz docs say this is (utc+1). Is there a way to respect both or do I have to check myself what time of year it is and increase the offset from utc myself?10 Replies
I think you can work with
TimeZoneInfo.IsDaylightSavingTime())
, but I believe it respects CET and CESTwill try thx
CEST stands for Central European Summer Time right? And CET is Central European Time
ype
yep*
so what's the Central European Standard Time?
microsoft docs say its utc +1
no info about daylight summer time change
seems like it respects daylight savings switches
ah you're right. I didn't realize how easy it is to check
I was searching through docs and SO posts for it
thx 😄
