❔ Free Lance Coding

So I've been learning C# now for just over a week and I was hoping to get some insight, to the level of ability ( and a rough time frame) needed to be able to freelance and make coding a bit more profitable - ie on fiverr or any other alternatives (let me know if there are better ones for coding) . Now I'm not planning on doing this now since I obviously have a lot of work to do as I've barely started, I think it'll be probably a year at least before I'll be be able to program different software comfortabl. But it would be nice to know how viable this would be since it would help with getting some work later down the line and also fund some other hobbies.

if you search "mturk alternatives" the first results should be alternative.to or one of the usuals first other platform (can i call this platform?) it comes to my mind would be craigslist for example the thing with mturk et similia is that you have to build a reputation before you can access decent tasks and it's quite competitive

the problem i've had with freelance type work is that it seems to attract people that want a lot of work done for only a little money might depend on the types of clients you attract though which means you should be skilled enough to be able to know if someone's asking for something way above what they're paying

ok, I'll be sure to keep that in mind When it comes to C#, which sort of applications are asked for most frequently? I know someone who gets paid a nice sum for making simple apps or components of apps (ie user interface) for someone else

I’ve been an engineer for about 10 years so I write engineering applications. It’s worth it to get domain knowledge so you can write things more autonomously
