So... I deployed like 2 times and then the cost spiked in a day?
Is this real? A glitch? I am thoroughly confused about what happened...

I should say that it looks like CPU usage spiked in all of my applications despite me doing nothing???
And my usage of credits jumped from like 20 cents to 1.30 within a couple hours for apps with barely any traffic
Update: Not sure why, but it seems every time I go back to the page the estimate drops. So I guess whatever spike this was is sorted? Do credits get refunded for this? Or was this an issue on my end?
may be related to the last fix? https://railway.app/changelog/2023-06-02-plans-and-pricing-changes#improvements-and-fixes
I see that this is still estimates, that i guess are calculated based on resource usage atm and some historic data. So it calculates from the spikes i guess.
Yes and no? This may explain some of it, but the spike for two seemingly unrelated projects at the same time was odd...
So update: while the estimate is now more sane, it is still up to 11/m as the estimate for one Nextjs app with no usage right now. That weird spike (same time for two apps with no meaningful changes) is gone now, but it still estimates higher. Is network egress making it's way into the billing now? I assumed this was still out a little bit

AH... yeah makes sense
I deployed once RN and it spiked to 800 bucks 😮
refreshed now and its down to 100
So I assume its definitely a bug... lol
Also is it normal for three deploys for a small discord bot to cost like 30 cents?
I wouldn’t trust the cost figure until the bug gets worked out on monday
but yeah, if it’s not doing much then that’s a reasonable amount
Cool, I'll check back late Monday to see how things are going 🙂
