System Interupts Windows 11
I’ve been having issues with system interrupts randomly spiking my cpu usage while doing simple cuts in Davinci Resolve. I would like to see if I can get some help solving them.

Define system interrupts - how are you seeing that (what app, what metric, etc)
Task Manager isn't really going to tell you much so I wouldn't rely on it to provide good info
Like random dips in performance like if I do some light work in resolve it will lag out the system but as soon as I move to Edge it goes back to normal
Same thing happens in photoshop
Yeah well "system interrupts" doesn't really explain your issue
It entirely depends on your PC specs, obviously doing stuff in resolve is more intensive than. Using a browser
Have you monitored your CPU, GPU, RAM, and disk usage when these sorts of performance dips occur?
I’ve seen it sometimes go up to like 80% on CPU and ram at 14%

Again, there's nothing to specifically indicate this has anything to do with system interrupts (as far as we've been told)
system specs?
Are the files you're working on in Resolve or Photoshop on the C drive? Is the C drive an SSD? IS the disk usage for the C drive spiking to 100% when these performance issues happen? What does the GPU usage look like in something like HWInfo, HWMonitor, or MSI Afterburner?

I know what they are, but it's not clear cut what's causing them just by looking at task manager
That usually only happens when the OS is bottlenecked by not having the resources it needs to just work
Is my system bottelnecking itself?
When you said "yes to all of the other questions" you mean that
- the source files you're working on in Resolve or Photoshop are on the C drive
- the C drive is spiking to 100% usage when you use Resolve or Photoshop
Which leads me to at least tell you to have your source files not on the C drive, and to export somewhere besides the C drive
Your CPU also isn't hitting 100% but 80% is still high enough to impact other apps including Windows itself
The C Drive doesn’t go to %100 whoops
I'd still recommend not having source files on or exporting to the C drive
Also you never said what the GPU usage was when this happens
I’ll have to check
