Running w/o v-sync, 200fps cap, and as you can tell by the screenshot I am getting frame drops all the time. Latest sodium, and Iris, and Minecraft 1.19.4.
Using other client-side mods as well, all up to date.
Same issue in 1.19.2 and 1.19.3, both with varying versions of Iris, sodium etc.
Don't know how long this has been an issue but noticed it now.

Reduce the ram, it can cause that issue
Also, try with iris and sodium only
put it at 4096mb, will see if it helps
i tried with a modpack called adrenaline that uses mods strictly for increasing performance
but if this doesnt help i will try just sodium and iris
made no difference

I don't think a dying gpu would cause something like that

don't think so but I can check when I come home in about 9 hours
you could try to experiment with these settings and find the best one that works with your cpu and gpu combo
especially with the render ahead limit
render ahead made no change
I remember trying that last night
send screenshot of ur mods folder tho
and log
mods folder is iris and sodium
there was no difference between just those two and all of my others added as well
