Ooo
Res sucks, good luck
Damn, rly? Why’s that
I thought it was better than any other options outside, everything is $800+
From when I last checked, it was super expensive. Though maybe international fees are more
For summer semester its still reasonable. I checked yesterday, it was around $3600 per sem.
For Fall, its crazy (8700 per sem)
That's a huge difference
I wonder why? Only because more people in fall? Why would that raise the prices so much?
Yeah it’s probably due to the major influx in fall
It's not worth for what you're getting, as if you just find something with other students, like if you divide a house or an apartment, you'll get same stuff or more, but for cheaper
You get weird internet, public weird kitchen, stuff like that
Ahh I see. Sounds like a pain, but staying outside only makes sense to me if I have a roommate I already know. Staying with a stranger is the last thing I would do.
Well, in res you'd still be dividing your space with a rommate
As far as I know. You both have a separate room, but share bathroom
Really I didn’t know that.
But I don’t think I am getting accepted anyways. I applied a couple days ago and the due date is 15th
So still looking for something outside on the sides
Wait the kitchen is public?
I thought it was also shared in same room
You'll probably still get a room. People will withdraw before September.
In you suite you have a microwave and fridge. The stoves and ovens are all on the first floor. You have to bring everything with you and take it all back to your suite when you are done.
That's kinda cringe for how much it costs
What that’s insane. Its a dealbreaker if they don’t allow stoves
you can have an air fryer in your suite but nothing with an open-element like a stove.
