Part cooling fan Delta 9030
I have this fan and can I use it cpap style? I plugged it in to try with a 3 pin input, but it works all the time.

This is more a question for #general-electronics.
3-pin fans have no pwm control, the third wire is a tachometer pin.
DO NOT TRY TO PWM THESE VIA +/- - They will die.
The only way you can properly regulate speed on a 2 or 3-pin fan is via voltage regulation.
This also won't have enough pressure to be useful in a CPAP like setup (with a tube). Best case scenario they'll operate at a fraction of their performance because of significant back pressure.
This fan in particular has under half the pressure compared to the Sanyo 9GAX, and under 1/4 the pressure of the Sanyo 9HVA at roughly the same CFM.
It also takes up more space than 4 of those 4028's..
