Need assistant understanding audio output for XR1 Pro
Okay So i'm a bit loss and puzzled by this. I hook up the device fine I can see picture etc. Now issue i'm having is when I plug in my headset into the line-out(refer to picture) I get no audio just some static. I would like to hear audio from my desktop such as Chrome or VLC i hear nothing. However, I do hear audio from the xr1 pro line-out jack is when I turn on my ps4 (only audio from the PS4) no other applications. Now when I plug my headphones directly into my computer I hear audio from my ps4 and other applications no issue at all. I just dont know which sound settings I need to change for me to get audio through the (xr1 pro) line-out when my PS4 is turned off, so i dont have to go back and forth unplugging cables etc.
Any help would be appreciated.

Yes that is correct im using a single PC setup and is there a way of making the PC receive audio from the xr1 pro device? My reason for wanting it to work this way so i can pary chat with friends. I made an error in my picture it should've been "Line-Out" when plugged into xr1 pro.
you're not going to hear any PC sounds from that output unless your PC is the HDMI In source
it's only going to allow you to hear the source coming in
oh my god i thought it would be very simple it would send audio to my PC as well. Any 3rd party device or software I can use to allow this? If not then i'll just switch bad and forth 😦
Also do you all have any video recommended on learning this obs audio setup properly?
Just get a 3.5mm switch. Pc audio out into one of the inputs, xr1 output into another
Then headphones can be connected to 1 spot and just turn a dial to change which you hear from

Would make alot of sense now. Because im upgrading from the xr1 lite because xr1 lite has no audio port .
I like tools that require less/no moving cables/connections for easier workflow
I've got a 1 in/4 out thing so I can have my dt990 and dt880 + 2 separate pairs of iems connected so all I have to do is turn a dial

yeah that's the only simple/cheap route
the other option is a proper USB audio mixer to pair with it, which is probably overkill
yeah i dont like alot of clutter thought i found the best solution of having the audio from my pc and ps4 come directly from the xr1 pro kill two birds with one stone . Now my lady going to be mad at me for buying more hardware equipment 😭
Luckily this is prob the cheapest part of any setup 😉
yeah man i got the xr1 pro for around $90 bucks. Not trying to break the bank with these audio hardware and get yell at lol

There are line level audio mixers, but idk if they will introduce static.
