Guys did i bought the wrong PSU for 4070ti? Cosair RM650x
the Adapter that came with the 4070ti has pcie gen 5 that splits into 3 other pcie connector. the problem is...i only have 1 pcie slot on PSU and i could only fit 1 PCIe that slits into 2(6+2) pins

Do I really have to plug in all 3 of this connector? Yes I do have another pcie 2(6+2) but don't know if my psu has a place to put it in
if you want to avoid any compatibility problems, buy an ATX 3.0 power supply
Oooooor, just go with radeon that doesn't use the 12 volt high power connector 😉
I would follow the instructions on the 4070Ti. They have to explain there which connectors are needed. Yes, you need to follow all steps, this connector could melt if not inserted properly

yes, that is clearly labeled as PCIe connector
the CPU ones are the ones on the right

no, the SATA ones are the 6 pin connectors
okay good now i can plug 2 pcie cables to plug this...
yeah sorry my eye is bad
so all i have to do is plug those PCIe to this 3 pin connector
the end of those 3 pin connector is PCie 5 for my 4070ti
i heard pinning the metal needle pin part or not plugging in all the way can cause fire
are those the only two main things to avoid?

Is 650w psu gold really good enough for 4070ti...people recommend me get at least 750w. i plan to game on genshin on ultra wide and have second monitor. i also do plan to do 2k video editing. i dont have the OC 4070ti of the card and i don't plan on doing any overclocking
i plan to use msi afterburner to under volt. will that help?
