How to properly connected main pc AND consoles to streaming pc Capture card's HDMI IN/OUT?

SO I was dealing with the audio routing issue, which I THINK I fixed finally? However I have an HDMI switch that has the MAIN PC hdmi AND the consoles switch's HDMI plugged in to connect to the capture card's HDMI IN (Avermedia GC573). So whenever I turn on a console, the hdmi switch breaks connection with my main PC and only the consoles switch is connected to the capture card. I apparently cannot connect both consoles and MAIN PC at once. Do I need a different HDMI switch or do I need to buy an HDMI splitter in this case? What I'm trying to do is connect everything to the capture card on the streaming PC so I can keep all of my audio from the main pc while also being able to catch any game console footage as well if I choose to play something on the ps5 for example

an hdmi switch is normally multiple inputs but only one output you should consider getting an hdmi matrix to get the multiple outputs you want maybe consider another monitor as well

if you need hdmi 2.1 yes and no you dont need another capture card. just change your hdmi switch to an hdmi matrix

Can a matrix take audio from two inputs and move it into one output? Because otherwise how does it exactly take the consoles video and audio and at the same time the whole interface/mixer audio from the main PC into the HDMI in of the capture card

that im not sure. I use a goxlr so i have used the audio extractor of the matrix. so normally thats one audio track
