Maps failing to render
For most (but not all) shaders, maps just render as black. If it helps diagnosis, the bug is also causing nametag text to render as black instead of white.
I am on 1.19.4 iris using intel integrated graphics on fedora linux. I have tried removing all mods other than sodium, iris, and fapi, as well as updating to 1.6.2-rc1. See attached screenshot for f3 info and an example of the bug.
It happens with complementary (both versions), bsl, and most other shaders I tried. However it does not happen with cyanide, likely because the simplistic shader doesn't use whatever feature is causing it.

How to get a log file:
Game logs can be found in the
logs
sub-directory in .minecraft on clients, or the logs
sub-folder of the server directory for servers. We're probably interested in the file named latest.log
, which you can drag and drop into Discord.Tag requested by Lolothepro30 | Dieu 🚀🇫🇷#9859
alr, let me get a minimal log
discord isn't letting me upload ("something went wrong"), hold on

I logged into a server, looked at the map, and logged back out
ok
@IMS
oh, and I don't have any resource packs enabled
is it only with shaders on?
correct. if I disable shaders the game behaves normally
what shader?
maybe it's a shader issue :thonkwithshades:

by which I mean solas
ok no it may not be a shader issue
iirc BSL, complementary (both) and Prismarine are all based on BSL
well ofc bsl is
if solas is based on bsl maybe it is a bsl issue?
not sure. if you give an example of a non bsl shader I'll try it
