trouble redirecting www to non www
I have some trouble redirecting my website from the www to the non www version. I am using cloudflare and have set up a page rule. I also have cname records for @ and www pointed to my railway service url. Any ideas?

Hi thx, found this tutorial as well. however for a dns record of type A i cannot fill in the railway url, since it asks for a ipv4 address
so now its just a cname. Am wondering if my setup at railway is incorrect or something
show me your domains on your railway service please
thats all good, you just haven't configured cloudlfare correctly
im sure theres a plethural of other similar tutorials

Okay fix it. I think the problem was: i pointed the www dns to the same url as the non www. So i removed that one, removed the www domain from Railway. Then added it again on railway, got a new Railway url, added this to cloudflare page rule and now its fixed.
For anyone in the future, make sure the www and non www both have their own unique railway url
