exit code is useless
can you send a log?
How to get a log file:
Game logs can be found in the
logs
sub-directory in .minecraft on clients, or the logs
sub-folder of the server directory for servers. We're probably interested in the file named latest.log
, which you can drag and drop into Discord.Tag requested by <?>#1147
Did you not see the attached message?
thats not the log
that's just the crash
having the whole log would be more useful
@The gay that has a blurry face
send the text file
not the text as a message
Does it really matter that is all that is in there
it doesnt seem like it is all in there, where is the crash :conc:
I just launched it
Ok, a few things here.
this log gives us no information about why it might be crashing
these logs you send seem short. Did it crash on startup?
is there maybe a crash report as well or is that all? As it stands we'll be unable to diagnose the issue
How to get crash reports:
Crash reports can be found in the
crash-reports
sub-directory in .minecraft
on clients, or the crash-reports sub-directory of the server directory for servers. We're probably interested in the most recent file, which you can drag and drop into Discord.Tag requested by Mithos23#5803
It crashes on startup
It doesn't make much sense for these issues to be caused by iris itself, it's more likely to be caused by an error during installation. Would you mind trying to install iris again?
The file above is what it outputs when it crashes the first one
I have tried reinstalling it multiple times.
Even reinstalled Java
I am able to load Sodium on Fabric and it loads just fine.
In that case you should try a manual install https://github.com/IrisShaders/Iris/blob/1.18.2/docs/guide.md#manual-installation

If you already have fabric with sodium it's just: download iris from modrinth, put it in the mods folder, launch the fabric profile, done
