Need help finding power supply for rog strix 4070 non ti 16 pin connector?
Hi, im looking to buy a modular power supply 750 watts. for around 140 dollars canadian. I see some the options that say 12 pins...how do pins work? will most power supplies have 16 pins? what are pins? i just posted an imagine. most modular power supply have many 8 pins right? do i plug in (x2) 8 pins and im good to go? also anyone know when or if there will be a rog stix 4070 non ti version?

What power supply unit are you referring to here?
All modern PSU's come with a 24-pin that connects to the motherboard. They also often include connectors and cables for extra CPU power for over locking / maintaining CPU stability
There's also PCIe power connectors / cables that are used for GPU's and come in 8 or 6 pin form, you'll typically get like two 8-pin cables on a 750w PSU but you can always just check the images or PSU's product page for more info

Yeah probably, have to wait for them to announce it. The FE version of the 4070 just came out so aftermarket versions will come within the next few weeks/months

I would personally buy a PSU that is ATX 3.0 and PCIe 5.0 compatible

I don't think this one has the 12 pin adapter but it's not bad. According to the website I sent it's B tier
