Homing Position Error after RatOS 2.0 Install (Sensorless Homing)
Hey. I have absolutely no idea what might be the Problem. Did a fresh install of RatOS2.0 on my VC300 and got this error
Got Sensorless Homing active. Copied the file from the folder and uploaded it to the main directory as i did on my VC500 and activated Sensorless in the printer.cfg

your position endstop values
from the printer.cfg or where do i find it
share your sensorless homing cfg
Did no changes to this file
make the values negative
which values
which stepper config is fucked up? check the error message
then have a look at the sensorless config
If you meant these values, made it negative but still got the error
share your prniter.cfg as well
add
homing_positive_dir: False
to the sensorless stepper configadded it beneath the [stepper_y] section in the sensorless.cfg.
Now i don't get an error but it won't start up either 🤨
this error message doesnt say anything

Values in the sensorless config are negative again, thought I'd have to revert it.
Restarted the system for a good measure but still no startup
i dont know why yu cant connect now
try to outcomment sensorless homeing to see if this somehow causes it
You said something about the octopus11 here
if not check your hardware setup
My board is an octopus pro 446, I selected it in the configurator
Is this maybe the issue?

you flashed the wrong firmwareUhm I am 100% sure and checked it right now that octopus-pro-446 was the selected board. I hit flash automatically
But I try again right now.
i use the same configurator and it works
flash it manually with sd card

you may have flashed the correct file, idk, but you havent included the right board

But another weird thing:
If i click home all axis it home X but not Y.
but if i click on home Y it does home it
revert the changes you have done before
Did already, got the error again
When I removed the homing_position thing code line I got the error again, if I put the values to 0 instead of -1 it does not make any change
do you see any updates in the machine tab?
Everything is up to date
Maybe do a fresh install? Or do you have any ideas?
Its weird because on my VC500 i also did not get the error in the first place.

Y is triggering instantly, tune your Y sensitivity / current
It's too sensitive / current is too low, currently.
Also
You can't have physical endstops AND sensorless homing at the same time.
(this solves the problem with homing_positive_dir)

I already reinstalled RatOS and now it works just fine..
Still weird but I hope it won't destroy itself again 😵💫
