Crash using ray-traced shaders
Hi, I'm using Shrimple with Iris 1.6. My GPU is RX570 and the game just crashes whenever I turn RT on. It says "Shaders compilation failed." I use latest drivers, here's the log.txt:

Do you want to upload this file to mclo.gs?
mclo.gs is a website that allows users to share minecraft logs through public posts.
It's easier for the mobile users to view the file on mclo.gs, do you want it to be uploaded?
Log Uploading is deprecated in LilyBot. It has been implemented in Allium instead. It will be removed in 4.9.0

Shrimple is broken on AMD's latest drivers at the moment
Oh well. Rip. Thanks!
I fixed it, works on 22.5.1 drivers.
how did u?
downgrade drivers
😩 imagine lost beta OpenGL on amd since 22.7.1
so its related to open gl the crash i wonder
Hey, is it fixable from Iris or shader dev side? 22.5.1 drivers are a bit ancient:/
no
AMD must fix it
screw amd then :ioa:
ty for the answer
The opengl drivers of that driver version are completely different. 22.5.1 was one of the last updates before they rewrote the opengl driver entirely. Said rewrite introduced some bugs, most of which are solved by now, but some like this one still remain.
We will have to wait for amd on this one
time to install mesa on windows
Thanks for the more in-depth explanation, I appreciate it! Can we somehow make this process faster? For example bugging amd to fix it, maybe sending them something, or was it already done by you guys? Cheers
Amd has a bug reporting tool that should be installed together with your driver. You could use that to file a report to them. No clue if it's going to help any and I'm not sure if IMS tried reporting it through that yet.
