Radeon xt 6600xt encoding error 10mbps/10,000kbps will more ram fix the problem?
My PC spec is Strix z390-e motherboard, radeon 6600xt, i5 9600k, and ddr4 16gb ram.
I am planning on replace my 16gb (x2) 8gb ddr4 ram with 32gb (x2) 16gb ddr4 ram. will it fix the encoding problem?

recording with OBS
What is the actual error you're getting? Can you post an OBS log from when the error occurred?
there is OBS log? i will try to search it up. i got work today so i'll have to check tomorrow
Do a test record to cause the issue to happen, stop recording and click the
Help
tab at the top of the OBS window and do Log Files
-> Upload current log file
and paste the URL herehow do i upload logs?
not sure which log...but i thought i saw memory leak: 24 but i can't find that log
when when i check task manager it said it uses 60-70% gpu...
every recording it crashes immediately or 3 seconds. when game close... i see 100% gpu usage
when im trying to record. but the game plays okay without recording
im trying the demo verison of the game. not sure if 100% buy the full version of the game
"Device removed" you are having what looks like either a driver crash or hardware failure

I'm seeing lots of errors about AMF failing (AMF being the AMD encoder)
Have you tried using DDU in safe mode to uninstall the GPU drivers and then reinstalling them?
And yeah what Matty said
Yea. DDU for sure then clean install the latest recommended driver
You could also be taxing the GPU so hard that it's causing the driver to crash, but the game you're playing shouldn't be too hard to run
this is the game im trying to run...https://youtu.be/JPrv2a79mQk
will i have to reinstall everything?
im worried a lot of my apps i have to change back every setting
also i plan to get the 4070 non ti this year
really want to switch back to nvidia
and get that AV1 encoder
Using DDU in safe mode to uninstall the FGPU drivers will not delete your apps or anything else. You're no reinstalling Windows, you're reinstalling GPU drivers
i mean my app settings
App settings for OBS? For what?
that i selected gpu options
i mean the radeon software settings as well
they won't be resetted
?
is it okay if i wait till i get the 4070 then i uninstall the amd drivers?
Sure but you'll keep having these issues until then
the issues only happen to this specific game. other records for my main games work fine
so the issue isn't ram?
No, it's the GPU drivers crashing
okay ty
This is why having logs to look at helps diagnose the issues
yeah ty. i don't know anything about logs before all of this
