HELP! intel Arc A750 but eGPU to old laptop and then use capture card for main PC. will it work?
Sorry for the long title. i didn't know how to phase it. not sure how old my bother's laptop is... but it is at least 6 years old. If i plug an eGPU and my cpu and ram is pretty old...will there be a problem recording AV1 encoder. Also i won't be doing any gaming on laptop. im just using the laptop to video capture my main PC so my main PC does not take a big performance hit in a game that is poorly optimized

my next option is just building a small light pc but probably cost me a lot >_<
case is 219 canadian dollars. how big is the Arc 750? can it fit this small open air case?

i was planning on getting the 4070 not ti version. for the av1 encoding but if obs crashes when i play the game i might need help finding a solution. the game im playing is soda crisis...really poorly optimized game
i have to buy new power supply but i have budget that is why i didn't want to get the ti version
because my 6600xt card when recording 60hz, 2560x1080 obs encoding error even when i lower the bitrate to 5mbps
i don't play that many graphic demanding games. one of them is genshin max settings 1080p can record 100mbps just fine. but the encoding error from soda crisis doesn't even look that demanding. that is why i wanted a cheap eGpu option.
i tried searching online how to fix the encoding error. everyone saying different things and all solutions didn't work.
