Shaders can't load custom light map
So I had this texturepack that alters vanilla shadows to make them darker and less blury.
they look good, it is a good replacement for dynamic shadows if your low end pc can't load them.
the only problem is. the shaders themselves doesn't load the texture-packs.
I heard that's because they have their own way or loading shadow lightmap.
is there a way to make them load on shaders? live maybe overriding them or something?

1st photo - shadow texture pack
2nd photo - shader with the texture pack loaded (it reverts back to vanilla shadows when you turn it on)
3rd photo - vanilla shadows without the texture-pack
Resourcepack shaders get overriden by iris when it’s shaders are enabled
It is not a fabulous shader, it is a colormap texture pack that alters shadowmap
Fairly certain that needs either A:optifine features B: core shaders
I got the mods that has said features
Also neither optifine loads them so I guess it is the order of which resource pack has to be loaded

It uses optifine features to do this
You would need a mod called colormatic to do this but I’m not sure they support that feature
Also shaders often override shadow stuff anyway and no way to fix it
well colormatic loaded them on vanilla but not on shaders though

that's a shame then, it would look so cool...
if you want shadows to look different in shader packs they will need to provide that as an option themselves
